Who is this training for?

People who work with people at risk of falls. This could be care home staff, carers, or teams who respond to pendant alarm activations.


What does this training involve?

Patient assessment, how to get someone off the floor safely, when to seek further help after a fall, causes and preventions of falls. We can also include use of equipment, such as the Raizer Chair, if required. CPR and the use of an AED is also discussed.


Are there any assessments on this course?

No – scenarios will be used to confirm your understanding.


How old do I have to be to go on the course?

Any age is welcome.

It is recommended that you attend this course on an annual basis.


I require a large group of employees to be trained, can you accommodate this?

Yes, we must have a ratio of 1 trainer to 12 learners, but we are able to deliver to any size group if we have the capacity.
